Looking for unique views? From Mound of Kościuszko you will see one of the most beautiful panoramas of Krakow, overlooking the most characteristic places in the old town - Wawel, St. Mary’s Basilica, the Cloth Hall and Main Market Square. From the Mound there is also a view of the entire Cracow Upland, Sandomierz Basin, Wielkie Foothills, and even with good visibility you can see even the Tatras!

It is also a place where you can learn the history of the Poles’ journey to freedom, see the eminent Poles and the historic 19th century fort. For lovers of military architecture monuments visit to Kopiec is a chance to visit a unique citadel fort, which served as a defense. The surrounding Fort 2 “Kościuszko” Mound is one of the oldest surviving works of the Fortress of Kraków.

In the historic interiors of the Fort there are many temporary exhibitions. You will discover here the rich history of Tadeusz Kosciuszko, you will know the secrets of the Fortress of Cracow, and then stand face to face with the most prominent Poles visiting the exhibition of wax figures.

The Krakow Tourist Card entitles you to the entrance to Kosciuszko Mound and a tour of all the Mound, fixed and temporary exhibitions. The following tours are available:
